⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4/5 — Kevin Presents
For $5.50 a sausage egg and cheese on a brioche bun... One thin scrambled egg in the tiniest sausage patty that you've ever seen in your life. On the largest of roll that they could possibly find. No seasoning whatsoever lack of flavor all you can taste is the brioche bun. Which was burnt around all its edges. But on the upside they have enough alcohol in the building to kill a small country. Expected more..from Munjoy Hill... UPDATE i've been back on Sam's request without letting him know a month later after this review...how was it? frigged great that's that way breakfast sandwich's are to be made...Sam well done Sir. Next Sam I will take you up on the free offer for a sandwich would love to have a reason to give you a five. However salt and pepper in the eggs little garlic will sell more. remember and tell your staff Kevin Presents is coming..I moved you and your staff up to a 4 star sir well done keep it up add spices wink better and you will nail it

lived next door back when ownership was changing and moved before seeing how it’s changed. i was worried the shop would lose it’s charm, but that had been put to rest! great selection of stuff that’s in touch with the neighborhood, delicious and quick food, and the place is so much cleaner. customer service is top notch. wish i still lived nearby!

Sam just handed a free pizza to us in our car as we sat in traffic leaving the fireworks on the eastern prom. People were gathered outside dancing and having fun. What an awesome place, we will definitely be back. And the pizza was delicious!!!

Last week I was running behind, it was lunchtime and I could hear my stomach rumbling. I didn’t have time to sit down in a restaurant or wait in any of those long lines in the old port. As I was driving from the eastern promenade I saw a car pull out of a space right in front of the Hilltop Superette. I pulled into the space went inside and was greatly surprised at how clean and the extensive selection of products. I ordered a Buffalo chicken sandwich from the friendly staff and looked around. I grabbed a few other items to accompany my sandwich, which I received in about 5 minutes freshly made on the grill. I had parked and left the store in less than 10 minutes. When I arrived at my destination and opened my sandwich, I was shocked to see how enormous and appealing it was. I then started eating it, and it was absolutely fantastic. All the items were very fresh and it was far superior to any sandwich that I would’ve ordered at a sitdown restaurant, for a fraction of the price. I highly suggest The Hilltop. Their menu is extensive and delicious and you could find anything to suit your taste.
